| | HOW TO MEASURE TO FIND YOUR SIZE. (some
questions and answers below size chart links)
- Get a measuring tape, a pencil and paper, and put on
lightweight clothing. (DON'T have a measuring tape - No problem - click
here to print one out and use it now!)
- Draw the tape around the fullest part of your bust.
Make sure the tape is taut but not tight, and it is flat, not twisted. Write
down the measurement where the tape meets itself. It should be STRAIGHT across
your back not sloping
- Repeat for the smallest part of the waist -( About 1.5
inches ABOVE YOUR BELLY BUTTON
- not around the top of your jeans)
- Repeat around the hip
(about 7" below the waist). That's all!
- IF you are VERY tall (over 5'10) or short (below 5'3"), it
will HELP to tell A Formal Choice your height.

I'm confused about my size - I don't fit right into any size?
Fit a gown to your largest measurement. If your waist is larger than
the size chart (more than .5 inch) move to the next size, it it is large
in the bust when it arrives, it can be altered.
All Bridesmaids (also Mother's) gowns are cut with 5/8 inch finished
seams on BOTH sides. So you will have at least 1.25 inches to LET
OUT on all dresses. Be advised that the dresses with ORGANZA overlay
are more difficult to let out because of the nature of the fabric.
If you are purchasing one of these gowns (Sandy 1, Claire, Theresa) You
should get a LARGER dress rather than buying smaller and thinking you will let
out the seams. This is the same for gowns with CHIFFON on the bodice or
above the waist (Jenna, Diana, Sierra, Kim).

- Hollow to Hem Measure is 59" on all gowns
How to measure Hollow to hem: Place the tape measure ¼”
below the hollow or depression of your neck, and measure to the
approximate finished hem- Wear the shoes you will wear in the dress when
measuring
How to measure Hollow to waist: Stand
straight and face forward with your arms at your sides. Place the tape measure
¼” below the hollow or depression of your neck and measure to the waist
following the shape of your body.

- Our Factory can add 1" to the bodice length of any gown for only $20. (hollow
to waist)
- Our Factory can add or subtract 5" to
the length of any gown
for only $15 (hollow to hem)
- Our Factory can do any custom sleeve length
for approx. $25. Measure the UNDER SLEEVE seam you would like,
You will get a custom quote for the sleeve length you would like. (this can
replace any of the capped sleeves also)
